The Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County is proud to announce its receipt of funding from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) for the ELISS (Extended Learning & Integrated Student Supports) grant! NCDPI provides federal funding for organizations like our own to better serve the children, families, and schools in our community.
The ELISS program provides extended learning opportunities for eligible students beyond regular school hours. The program specifically offers tutoring from certified teachers and social-emotional support services from certified school counselors. In addition to intensive academic learning and social-emotional support services, the ELISS program also offers students a broad array of enrichment activities focused on healthy lifestyles and character development.
